I dreamed of being a part of the stories - even terrifying ones, even horror stories - because at least the girls in stories were alive before they died.

Peacocks in motherfucking fashion.
Its always been a bit of a pet peeve of mine because usually when you incorporate a peacock design into those prom dresses it looks really tacky and gross to me. Plus, it's the male peacocks that have the pretty feathers. Peahens are just plain and brown. Yet it's the feathers of males that are constantly showing up in women's fashion.
Anywho, I was trying really hard not to make the doll too... peacocky. But still be kinda peacocky. And I originally wasn't going to have peacock feathers incorporated into the outfit because I didn't want to be "cliche", but then again the whole purpose of the feathers in peacocks is to show them off. And if I were a peacock that suddenly turned into a human (I don't think that's what they meant Vivian. STFU ME) then I would want to keep my feathers. I mean the feathers of a peacock are basically its very livelihood. You can't just take that away.

So here's my super heroine. Her real name is Fen, and she her powers are the manipulation and generation of crystals. She can create crystals that cover her entire body which serve as armor. And as you imagine, it would hurt to be punched in the face with a fist wrapped in crystal. The crystals can take any form and shape, so she could sharpen and fling them. By channelling her energy through meditation, she can create healing crystals.
ORIGIN STORY AWYEAH: She was in a creepy old store full of oddities to buy a present for her friend's birthday. She discovers a ring with a bizarre stone in it, and tries it on. She is unable to take the ring off, and ends up stealing the ring. Later that night, strange men come looking for her to take back the ring. When defending herself, she discovers that she now has powers.

Being aesthetic doesn't mean you only care about looks. I like to think of it as being able to see beauty in everything.

I don't watch drama television series. (shrugs) Most of the television series I enjoy are animated cartoons/anime. It's a lot more fun to draw fan art of them. And I like nice animation.
I really enjoy Adventure Time. The characters are interesting, it's humorous, there's fun music, lots of opportunities for shipping, and I think it's really great that the series has gender bent the characters. I almost love the gender bent characters more than the original characters themselves (almost).

Just want to point out a slight detail: I made Fionna's hair slightly curled, because in the show if you compare her hair to how it is normally, you'll notice that it is slightly more curly.
 
And I hate the fifty item limit with a passion.

I originally wanted to do Juliet clutching a knife in her abdomen while leaning over Romeo's dying body, but I was traversing around Boston and did not have time to do so. I settled for the typical balcony scene.
 
If there was no 50 item limit, I would've used approximately 64 items I believe.

I make paper dolls.
I would like bangs to enhance my Asianess, but I do not want to take care of them.

Er… I’m really bad at writing/talking about myself. Because I’m worried I might say something about myself that only I think is true, and then the rest of the world will think to themselves, “Wow she’s not like that at all. What makes her think she is anything like that?”
I’ll give it a shot though. I think I’m one of those people who do little quirky meaningless things that I think make me unique (i.e. listen to certain bands, wear certain kind of socks, say a certain word a certain way, that sort of stuff). That way I can feel cool and superior without having to try hard to accomplish anything of real significance. I can assure you I’m not a hipster though, so I’m not a complete lost cause.
